Samantha Clement is the Director of International Student & Scholar Services at Texas A&M University – College Station. She previously completed the NAFSA Academy, served as a member of NAFSA Trainer Corps, and presented at NAFSA state, regional, and national conferences on crisis management, international student orientation programming, and specific immigration topics. She recently received NAFSA’s 2025 Texas State Award.
Samantha joined the ISSS unit at Texas A&M in 2008 as an international student advisor and has been fortunate to find a career she loves, bringing the world to Aggieland. In 2022, Samantha became the Director of ISSS. In this role, Samantha is passionate about supporting international students and scholars as well as the ISSS team. Samantha serves as an ARO and DSO and is the primary contact for all issues impacting Texas A&M University’s international students and J-1 scholars.
