Susan Ellison worked as an immigration attorney from 1995 until joining Dartmouth in October 2010. Before coming to Dartmouth, Susan was a partner in the global immigration law firm of Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, where she advised both employers and individuals on a broad range of immigration issues, including counseling foreign students on the complexities of the immigration process. Susan also served as an adjunct professor at Boston College Law School, where she taught a course in Business Immigration Law.
At Dartmouth, Susan oversees the Office of Visa and Immigration Services (OVIS), responsible for both international student and scholar services. She is an active member of NAFSA Region XI and the New England Chapter of AILA (American Immigration Lawyers Association).
