Katherine Punteney, EdD is a professor and founder of the MA in International Education Management program at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies where she supports practitioners in advancing their careers in international education. She is Editor-in-Chief of Case Studies in International Education and author of The International Education Handbook: Principles and Practices of the Field. Her research focuses on internationalization, intercultural competence, and preparing graduate students for careers in international education. She has previously served as chair of NAFSA's Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship knowledge community.
