Florencia Magnasco joined IES Abroad in 2013 as Student Affairs Coordinator. In her position, she leads the Student Affairs Department, always focused on student life and well-being. She is the IES Abroad Regional Student Affairs Expert for Latin America. She presented at the National Association for Student Affairs Administrators (NASPA) in 2018 and for the Fulbright Commission in Buenos Aires in 2025/2026. Currently, Florencia serves as the Student Affairs Cluster Co-Lead for IES Abroad’s Global South Cluster.
Florencia obtained her degree in Tourism and Hotel Management from Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires. Her passion for international education and assisting students began while working in Whistler, Canada for 8 years. Florencia has traveled extensively around the world and is constantly amazed by different cultures.
