Associate Director, Global Engagement

Sancha Elevado Harrison is the associate director for global engagement at Seattle Colleges (SC) International Programs. She directs education abroad, student activities, short-term customized programs, partnership management, orientation, scholarships, and housing across SC’s three campuses. Sancha holds a masters degree in higher education and a bachelors in accounting. Sancha’s experience in higher education and nonprofits (cultural exchange and tech-adjacent) spans over a decade which includes experiences in student support services, F-1 immigration/academic advising, and grants management. She was awarded a Fulbright IEA grant to Germany in 2019 and to Korea in 2025, and in 2020, she was named NAFSA Region 1 Rising Young Professional. Sancha has held leadership roles at SC and in international education, including chairing the Association of Washington International Student Affairs (AWISA) and was vice president of the Board for the Foundation for International Understanding Through Students (FIUTS). Sancha remains deeply committed to giving back to the community that helped her succeed as both a student and professional, demonstrating her passion for fostering international education, student advocacy, and community engagement.
