Exploring how to redesign orientations to reflect expanding communication on global campuses, this session engages staff and faculty in aligning goals for students, hosts, and institutions. By fostering inclusive and meaningful connections, participants support deeper engagement and cultural adjustment across diverse communities.

Learning Objectives:

  • Apply strategies that integrate student wellness, career readiness, sustainability, and social impact and equip staff and faculty to develop inclusive, adaptable orientations.
  • Train across divisions to build a unified support system for international students and develop follow-up programming that reinforces cross- cultural themes and supports long-term adjustment and success.
  • Address communication gaps to streamline administrative processes related to coordination for sponsored students, and to improve clarity around institutional policies.
